UK fashion photographers are popular overseas with the likes of Lara Jade etc flying the flag for us Brits. I am not quite on that level of notoriety as yet but thought I would visit our American cousins and return to Los Angeles for the first time in over a decade.
The trip was mainly a ‘vacay’ but as always with us fashion photographers I brought along my gear and booked a couple of photoshoots with L.A. based models, ironically none of them were American. I worked with a Russian, a Romanian and a Hawaiian – there’s a joke in there somewhere.
Coming from Manchester, beach access is not readily available so I wanted to take advantage of the Pacific coast and experience the pleasures and pitfalls of swimwear photography.
