Manchester Fitness Photographer
Whether you are a sports photographer, gym photographer, fitness photographer or however you like to be referred to it’s always good to be involved with gym photoshoots with the likes of Love Island 2019 contestant Tom Walker and Nemesis Models Rob Johnson.
I had a great day on this activewear photography photoshoot at Arrow gym in Manchester, the gym is well equipped with all the usual bells. and whistles. and has a boxing ring so made for a perfect location as opposed to a photographic studio in Manchester.
With the help of Richie Harvey doing hair and make up completing the team we shot a sports editorial to showcase my skills as a sports photographer and their prowess as fitness models.

Strobes with a short flash duration comes in handy and a camera with good continuous autofocus. At the minute I use Canon camera bodies and Profoto strobes which rarely let you down.
On this photoshoot I was equipped with 2 x Profoto B1 strobes, 1 x Canon 5D MkIV camera, 1 x Canon 70-200mm F2.8 USM IS II, Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 II lots of stands and a smoke machine so if you are interested in this style of concept photography be prepared to be carrying a lot of equipment – and be prepared for the question ‘why do you have baby oil with you, dude?'[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
